It's almost everything I wanted the sequel to Hollow Knight to be like: interesting story, beautiful art, silly characters, rewarding exploration, challenging bosses. My only issue in the game is that you constantly feel weak. Therefore, you have to be really careful how you approach enemies and bosses, and that is why it feels so difficult. The feeling of feeling weak does not really change throughout the game. Towards the end of Act 2 you feel somewhat more powerful, but then going into Act 3 you feel weak again. In the first game, with the items introduced in the DLCs, you actually feel powerful towards the end game, so hopefully Team Cherry will consider doing something similar in Silksong.

Even after 11 years from the original release, Alien Isolation stands alone as a unique title in the survival horror genre. The game is one of the rare horror games that makes you sweat, anxious, and terrified for real when the only thing you can do against the deadly alien is hide, and even that becomes futile when the alien AI learns your habits and how you play the game.

Interesting little adventure game with a unique art style, multiple endings, and different ways to progress the story.

It's interesting until a certain point. After beating Act 3 with all the characters, you are able to reach the true final boss in Act 4. At that point, you have already experienced all there is to see in the game, and it becomes too repetitive and boring. Nevertheless, it is a good game for a couple dozen hours.

Honestly, I love it. It's nice to see that the devs are not afraid to try new things, and this time I think it paid off. The different shapes are a nice change and if you don't like them, you can always play the game the same way as the previous titles.

A nice looking point and click game for the casual player, where the puzzles often come down to putting pieces into the right slot or right order and there is not much thinking involved. For the seasoned puzzle solver, the game is too easy and becomes boring fast. For the achievement hunters out there, you can safely add this to your 100% game completion collection after one playthrough, since there are no missable achievements.
