They're making positive changes and listening, question is whether it will stay positive or not.

"This game is not suitable for children, or those who are easily disturbed."

Ignore that, just listen to Monika.

ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead is what some would call the ultimate version of the ARMA series, it's the most well built and content filled version of all the game in the series, even more so if you own the original ARMA 2 since you can easily combined the two into ARMA 2: Combined Ops, letting you play with all the maps, weapons and vehicles from both games. On top of that, there's a big community behind this game with mods, missions and custom campaigns adding even more content or enhances the core gameplay.

The ARMA series is what I would call the ultimate footsoldier simulation, even though the game features tanks, cars, helicopters, armored fighting vehicles and even jets, it's still within the basic footworks of a soldier where the game shines the most as you can play with a varying range of rifles ranging from M4's, M16's to AK's, G36 rifles and even Czech Vz.58.

The ARMA series started with the original ARMA: Cold War Assault, or Operation Flashpoint for us Veterans where the setting is the cold war gone hot. Today, the so called "Armaverse" has rbought us to Takistan where political unrest and civil war has brought the American taskforce to try and overthrow the military leader that rules the Takistan government forces.
You will get to play as several different roles, from the basic grunt to a tank commander.

The Campaign itself is rather short, but it does a good job of showing you the many different aspects of ARMA and on top of that, it is co-operable with three other friends, letting you all do different tasks in each missions, which has an affect on how the missions play other for the other members.

The multiplayer is where the game really shines, which it always has, here you can find a lot of fun missions, like Takistani life, a kind of a roleplaying mission where civilians can do what they want, live a law abiding life to become a criminal or even a rebel while police officers try to keep the order.

Then you've got missions like standard PvP, like team deathmatch or co-operation missions to large scale PvP or PvE missions where you have to capture towns randomly allocated on the map.

ARMA also comes with the easy to use mission maker where you yourself can create simple to advanced mission which you can play alone or with friends. This is where the game can become really fun as you can make missions like, infiltrate the enemy base, sabotage missions to large scale battles spanning across the entire map. Or you can make a mission where you and your friends are all farmer with dirtbikes and have to escape the enemy chopper that relentlessly tries to murder you in the most horrific way it can.

The game does have it's kinks and problems though. It can be very taxing on your system and many dislike how you handle your soldier, calling it clunky and slow to respond. In my opinion, I've never had any bigger issues with it, but the way how it can be rather slow at turning around and such, especially while standing still can be annoying.
This is mostly something you'll learn after a few hours and will become more effective in using it, so don't let it turn you off, learn it, and I'm sure you'll be pleased with ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead.

DCS: Black Shark is one part of a bigger series of realistic aircraft simulation games, while mostly about Russian crafts, it also has American crafts like the UH-1Y. The vehicles arecarefully made to match their real life versions where you can use close to every button and switch in the cockpit and it does what it should do.
Want to do a cold start? Go ahead, if you know what to press and in what order, then it will start like it should.

The helicopter itself uses as close to life simulation too and it will respond to everything you do and it also has a very detailed damage simulation. Be too rough with it and you will break it before you're even close to your enemy.
