I replayed the PS2 version a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amount times by now, there's a few QOL improvement over the PS2 games like the ability to chooses which skills get inherited in fusion, extra 3rd semester school term, new social links and many more stuff. The only bad thing about this game in my opinion is the downgraded background on some of the scene, and the weird way they place Marie's story at the end of the game, which i'm sure they can do something better with it. Overall its a pretty solid JRPG with fun gameplay and story. Storywise I think Persona 3 the better one but individual character and social links is way way better in this game.

Hands down this might be one of the best JRPG I've ever played.

The story of each character is very interesting and while it feels kinda disjointed there is actually a very subtle connection between each story if you paid attention to the dialogue and some flavor text here and there. My only complaints about the story is how they info dump alot of lore stuff at the last questline in the game, I wish they fix this in the next game either by spreading the lore stuff into other sidequest or make the last questline a bit longer.
The gameplay is quite fun, the main combat system is exploiting your enemies weakness to "break" their armor so that they will get more damage from your next attack, the random encounter is not that bad and there's a skill in the game to reduce/increase the amount of random encounters. The Class/Subclass system is quite deep and fun, while it maybe not as deep as Etrian Odyssey class building it's still very good. The music is just what you would've expected from a Square Enix's games, its very good.

Overall even thought the game released in 2019 its still worth it play it now. Looking at what other games the developer (Team Asano) created, I'm kinda excited to try their other games later, specifically Octopath Traveller 2, Triangle Strategy and Live A Live.

This is a "World" styled Digimon games, so it focused more on the virtual pet raising mechanics like in World 1 or Re:Digitize, if you expect a Turn-based SMT-like gameplay like the one in Cyber Sleuth then you won't find it here.

Keep in mind that this game is a port of PS Vita games from 2016, the game itself is fine but there's a lot of Unity jank ♥♥♥♥♥ that really shows how old this game is. The Digimon roster is quite disappointing IMO, there's a lot of recolors and there's not enough < Rookie level Digimon. There's a lot of QOL improvement over the older Worlds game so raising a new Digimon after the previous one died is not as tiring as before and the 2 partners gimmick is very interesting and fun. Even thought I know the story is not the focus of these games I'm still disappointed that story is kinda boring and not that interesting.

If I have to rate all the Worlds series Digimon games, I would do it like this:
  • Digimon Roster: Re:Digitize > Next Order > World 1
  • Atmosphere: World 1 > Re:Digitize > Next Order
  • Gameplay / QOL : Next Order > Re:Digitize > World 1

TLDR: Buy it if you liked Digimon World 1 or Digimon World Re:Digitize/Decode.

[Cyber Sleuth]

This game is essentially what happens if you create SMT games with Digimon instead of demons. The quality of the Digimon is surprisingly excellent. The Digimon roster they included is quite impressive, with not too many recolored Digimon, and around 400 Digimon with 1–2 unique signature skill animations. Just from that alone, the game already has a higher quality than the newest Pokémon games (which is the highest-grossing media franchisees in the world, by the way).

Unfortunately, the dungeon design is terrible and super monotonous, there's too much grinding (even with the extra EXP Digimon), some of the cutscenes are too long, and I feel like the story pacing is not that great. There is very little to no plot progression before the last five chapters of the game. I truly hope they fix this in the sequel.

I finished Cyber Sleuth in ~50 hours, and I spent around ~9 hours completing the optional content and filling up the field guide in the game. I think price-to-value wise this game is very good, especially if you like JRPG and Digimon as a franchise.

A fun and very cheap arcade games. There are three game modes here Arcade, Adventure and Procedural. Finishing the Arcade mode will get you most of the achievements, I finished the Arcade mode in about 40 minutes and most of the levels are pretty easy and fun except for a few but it kinda gets samey and repetitive by the 20-ish levels. I'm not sure how the gameplay is in adventure mode but the procedural mode isn't that bad, the procedurally generated level is okay IMO, not as good as the one in arcade mode but not that bad either. Overall this is a good and cheap arcade game that you can play for 1-2 hours before you get tired of it.

A very short and fun puzzle platformer games. Many of the puzzles in this games are easy, but a few of them are irritating and somewhat boring, particularly in the final stages. The game's visual and sound design are impressive. I particularly enjoyed the voice acting for the characters.

This is a very enjoyable 5v5 hero shooter game, which is probably my favorite. There is a wide variety of heroes to choose from, each with their own unique play style. Some heroes skins may reveal the developers' love for furry characters, which can be annoying at times. The game has significant bugs and balancing issues, as well as a lengthy wait time in queues. Additionally, new players may find it difficult to unlock new heroes. If you disregard these issues, it can be a very enjoyable game, especially when playing with friends.

I first played this game when it was still in version Beta 17 so around ~5 year-ish ago I guess (?). It's still one my most favorite games that I have played. There's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amount of mods that you can download ranging from small QOL to a new whole mechanics. This game have a few DLCs, you don't really need it to truly enjoy the games as some mods already covered the same mechanics but if you want to get the DLC, get Biotech > Ideology >>>> Royalty. Overall a very solid and fun base building games.
