This is one of the worst purchase I have ever made on Steam.

- Boring repetitive gameplay
- Literally only one enemy type
- Annoying Julianna invade mechanic to make up for the former
- Uninteresting story
- Cringey dialogue

It's also full of bugs. For example the ragdolls when enemies die can panic and throw them anywhere violently which alerts other enemies. Or one bug so major I wonder if it was intentional, is the fact that you can finish hacking a device safely from behind cover if you initiated it and just hold the hack key even after the UI disappears.

The entire thing feels as deep as a puddle, from design to execution. What really makes it more sad is that it's made by Arkane who also made Dishonored, which is a night&day difference. But I suppose it's yet another case of a previously good dev replacing their staff and producing garbage like we see a lot these days.

Save your money unless it goes <5€ and you REALLY want a below mediocre game.

Early Access Review
I got hooked by just watching a few gameplay videos, and actually playing the game is even better! I just wish there was a little bit more content. More special missions, regions etc. But it's already pretty solid for being in Early Access! A lot of people seem to complain about the crew management, but I found it to be just fine.

Definitely recommend giving it a try if you've been eyeing it!

I was skeptical at first, considering it was Monopoly themed, but it's actually pretty good!

I don't understand the negative reviews about the bots. If you're that bad, I don't think it's the game's fault that you lose...

My only serious complaint is the text that tells you if you have a winning hand compared to the table is shared with what's on the table. Ex you have a Q and 6, and there's two 3's on the table, and the text'll tell you there's a pair in the same way if there'd be a Q or 6 in the community cards.

This game is rigged against me.

Early Access Review
I thought the campaign was going to be a fun demolition spree to demonstrate the unique concept. But 12 or so missions into the campaign, you realize it's a heist game and almost every level is time-based where you have to perfectly plan everything by moving props, cars etc. where the slightest screw-up is going to ruin everything.

I should've done more research before I bought it, but even so it's definitely not worth €20.

Coming from the 2014 standalone, I'm honestly not having much fun in this one. A lot of the maps and mechanics are recycled, not that it's a bad thing but I don't really see the point in paying twice for it just for an engine upgrade. Biggest change is the move from Source to UE4, but the optimization is terrible, barely hitting 60FPS in a small room with a 1080Ti.
I'm also seeing distracting visual glitches, for example there's one which at first sight looks like there's a tripwire in various places.

You might enjoy this for a while if you're new to the series, but personally I'm regretting my purchase after ~10 hours.

As someone who's coming from Rise and enjoyed it, here's my take

The good:
- Once again, pure eye candy on high settings
- Beautiful, but sometimes repetitive level design
- Sound in general have improved quite a bit from Rise

The bad:
- Quite a short main story again, took me about 7 hours without rushing, although there's plenty of side missions.
- The jump and grab mechanic is just broken, was this even tested before release? Incredibly frustrating.
- Combat doesn't seem very polished either
- Lots of the menus and UI are just straight up copied from Rise with a few color/icon changes.

I don't recommend the game due to the price, it's simply not worth it at all and I'd only recommend grabbing it while it's on sale. Although it went 34% off not even a month after release, maybe that should tell you something.
