If you haven't already started playing, don't bother. This game is the ultimate example of squandered potential. I will continue to play this for years to come.

wickedly excellent game, just very fun, well made, polished third person gameplay. story is campy and cheesy, characters are all great, and good boss fights.

Not gonna beat a dead horse. Yeah, the story's weaker than BL2. But the gameplay is LEAGUES ahead, balance is currently in the perfect spot with world drops still being present while not drowning you out in legendaries, and the DLC for this game has been absolutely great. The 4 Vault Hunters are all super unique and fun to play as, each providing for a wildly different experience. The DLC - Handsome Jackpot, Guns Loves and Tentacles, Bounty of Blood - are all a joy to play through. DLC 4 is kind of a dud, but DLC 5 provides new skill trees and a whole new game mode with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of great gear to farm, and DLC 6 provides a genuinely interesting mission chain with Ava (that makes her character a lot more enjoyable) and a raid boss that provides a good challenge for end game. The free content addons, Maliwan and Guardian takedown, are all a blast, and are actually different than the raid bosses in BL2 which were just "shoot health boss", providing new and interesting mechanics respectively. The game is in a better spot now than it ever was. Also, I recently bought the game on Steam - I have almost a thousand hours on the Epic Games Version which I've been playing since launch. If you liked any part of BL2, BL1, or TPS that wasn't the story, do yourself a favor and buy the game.

To the people complaining about season pass 2: You bought season pass one, which very clearly outlined what they were selling: 4 DLC expansions. And you got the 4 DLC expansions. They then created more content, once they had finished DLC 4, which costs money to make. They did not promise you 6 DLC expansions, they promised you 4, and you got 4 - Season Pass 2 offers a different type of content, and the game is better for it.

Excellent story, with excellent writing, paired with a very VERY boring open world. At least in my opinion - the Capital Wasteland in both Fallout 3 and the Commonwealth in Fallout 4 provide a much more enjoyable exploration experience, but, their stories suck.

I recommend this to anyone who enjoys genuine RPGs - great stories, with choices that actually matter, paired with genuinely interesting characters and skills to choose from.
If you like games more like Bethesda's offerings, such as FO3, Skyrim, and FO4, I don't think you would enjoy this, primarily because the open world is quite literally a desert.
Also, the DLC for this game is absolutely incredible, if not much more difficult than the base game.

First things first, the story is VERY well told, with excellent voice acting. The game world is also very interesting to explore, and I would love to play the game, if it were not for one big hurdle.

The controls are atrocious. Or more specifically, the combat is atrocious. Now, I can feel the fans of this game preparing their responses now, but just hear me out. The game throws you into a room with like 15 thugs, similar to the Batman Arkham games. Yet, where Batman Arkham's combat was tight and responsive, yakuza 0's combat is anything but. So many times now I've attempted to grab an object to use against my opponents. Instead, my character will just stand there, grabbing the air, and then I'll immediately get hit and staggered. The combat of this game is clunky and a pain, which is a shame, because everything else about the game shows so much promise. Whenever the game throws me into a combat arena, I know the next 20 minutes are going to be pure hell.

Fallout 4's story was so ♥♥♥♥ that literally anything could've been better, and that's where Far Harbor comes in. From the onset this story is much more interesting than that of the base game, and the characters you meet, especially DiMa are genuinely interesting with character flaws and traits that make them seem conflicted. No one is really black or white in this game. Even better, this DLC has CHOICE, something sorely missing from the base game. You have different ways to tackle a problem, and the endings are actually different, unlike FO4 having 3 of the 4 endings being the same thing. The world is expansive and dense, and the new creatures added are all frightening and fit the tone of the game. It's such an incredible improvement over the base game, when in reality, it's not THAT good. But having just basic RPG elements and improved dialogue choices, as well as an interesting story, makes it a must have DLC for FO4. This is what Fallout 4 should've been.
