It worked on Linux, so I bought it, which obviously meant the moment it was downloaded there was a patch that broke it, and now it's going to possibly be fixed "at some point in the future".

All I get is the L010 error:

As others have said, very promising, but the gameplay style and maps don't match expectations.
It feels like "COD with a twist" and not much else as of now.
I'll be waiting for that to change, and in the mean time I cannot recommend it unless that is specifically what you are searching for.

I would like this review to be positive, as it is an interesting game, but:

• Optimisation is not a concept they seem to know about at this point. (which leads to the next point:)
  
• Raytracing is forced on by default. To disable it (which the engine is kind enough to allow you to do...), you have to fiddle with game / engine related files.
  
• The water system forces you to play every so often to get more water (it counts down in actual, not in-game time), otherwise you lose all your progress. This creates FOMO. I don't like FOMO. By the way, they proudly advertise themselves as developers who respect gamers, and say they will not add paid content that isn't purely cosmetic. I disagree. I can see them easily adding an in-game store where people buy more water. I wouldn't consider either the FOMO or the possibility of buying more water as anything else than an utter lack of respect for the players' efforts and time after publicly saying such things.

I will change this review once these major issues are addressed.
Until then, while I may play it myself to see what it has to offer apart from these annoyances, I cannot recommend it to others, especially to those who have a life or aren't tech savvy enough / willing to jumps through hoops to get it working right on their machine.

Can't update the damn thing. The install takes up 83GB, and the update requires... I don't know how much on top, (it doesn't say) but I have a good 80 extra GB so obviously I'm the dummy for not having a petabyte's worth of space available. Some say you have to uninstall & reinstall. I WILL uninstall, but until that is also fixed, there is no way I'll be downloading it again.]

Audio:
- Some music and ambient noises.
- Constant high pitched noise.
- No voices.

Video:
- Made for 480p? Lower?
- Image and text so small you have trouble reading on 1080p
- Low poly 3D

Gameplay:
- Point and click.
- There apparently used to be a Tetris level that's been removed.
- Black (ha. ha.) screen after alt+tab to something else. Restarting my computer, reinstalling, wiping the game files and only using one monitor have no effect, it's now soft locked somehow.
- Some say the achievements are broken; I couldn't even try to get one.

Price:
- Not worth the trouble, even under a buck.

First playthrough was good and moving to the core, but now, two years later, I actually get it what the games were all about.
Playing through it again is... yeah, an experience.
