Lazy cashgrab made only because there were 2 expansions promised for premium edition owners. Playground Games put almost no effort into this as they are busy with Forza Motorsport and the new Fable. Map is small (only 32 roads) and made of copied assets from base map. New gamemode hasn't even been tested since pacenotes are said way too late and it's noticeable from first race.

Original map was missing 2 things: snow and big city. Instead we got desert map that looks exactly like base one.

The good:
+ New radio station,
+ Twisty techincal roads,

The bad:
- Map looks like base map,
- Small map (32 roads),
- More cringe dialogue,
- Pacenotes are too late and too vague (most turns are just called "medium"),
- Map should be hidden by default (there is no point in listening to directions if you can see the route anyway),
- Very short (3-4h),
- All "boss" races are cross country (even final race of road series),
- Annoying helicopter follows you in every race,
- Not a single new horizon story.

It's still forza though, so core gameplay is fun. Play it if you have it from premium edition. Otherwise wait for deep discount or skip entirely.

Broken main quest. Still not fixed month after release.

Single player matches still locked to 5 minutes and only 9 teams available.

It's very good, I had a lot of fun.

- About 2 hours long,
- Interesting new traversal mechanic,
- No cybervoid,
- Very cool boss fights,
- Easier than base game,
- Story answers few questions from base game and builds a foundation for Ghostrunner 2.
