It WAS a very fun game when i could play it, after one of the updates it pushed launching the game installs a 3rd party launcher which is essentially malware and force you to sign an EULA before you can play it.

Whoever decided dark souls with guns is a good idea needs to be fired, then i'm gonna hire whoever it is to be my life's creative director.

Disclaimer: this review is based on playing this game completely in co-op.

I really want to say i like this game, the parkour and combat system is second to none, but for every good thing i have to say about this game i have several bad things popping up in my head.
There is so much potential for a game such as this, but it really shouldn't be called "dying light" the first game feels like a superior version compared to this. The first dying light felt complete, there were little to no glitches and bugs, but dying light 2 comes out of the box with a black screen in the middle of your campaign that completely halts your progress (we have to restart the whole game to get pass this) and there is no official fix as of 27th June 2022.
If this is what the developers of dying light came up with after 7 years in development and there being word of "dying light 3" on the horizon i fear for what that game will become, if they took 7 years for this buggy mess, what will they come up with in 2-3 years?

All n' all, this game needs major bug fixes before anyone should buy it, go play Dying light for now.

This is a fun game, but for its price, its a little short, managed to beat it under 2 hours on my first playthrough, wait for a sale to pick it up if you are cheap like me.

There is very little to say about this game, but one thing is certain... its not for anyone that has any sort of anxiety whatsoever, this game will stress you the hell out.
I've had nightmares about my team dying... that should tell you all you need to know.

Its like darksouls with guns? its so hard some times it makes you want to pull your hair out, but i might just be bad.
I mean... it does have a easy mode, and the command artifact does make the game way easier(hint hint nudge nudge)
Something i wish i knew sooner: look at your characters' alternative abilities and keep an eye out for those unlocks during your run, it will make life a whole lot better the next time around, you probably wont make it that far the first time you jump in, don't be discouraged, you WILL die.
That said, try, try, try again. Victory might be just around the corner.
