Game is legitimately not worth $5, let alone the $100 my dumbass paid for it. Don't buy this game unless you have so much money that wasting it is fun.

One of the best parts of DL1 is the graphics, and with a 3080Ti on max settings, I legitimately cannot get over 100 fps. It seems Denuvo is probably the cause, but the graphics you get even on max or high feel extremely underwhelming compared to E3 trailers. Very good game so far, but a crash ruined my save and now prevents me from progressing the story quest what pushed this review to a negative one.

Please, remove Denuvo, fix zombie physics, and make the game not crash and ruin saves.

Not too bad.

It's fun and worth the money. I am sad that the trading community will die, but this was still fun while it lasted.

This was formerly a positive review. But, after these damned changes to the launcher, I have no interest in playing the game. It's a huge inconvenience compared to the previous launcher, and from what I can tell it increased end game lag. This is extremely inconvenient when combined, as I can't use lag reduction mods.

Until Paradox reverts their launcher, this review will stay negative, mainly because I can't use mods, which frankly make the game a lot more fun.

With the end game lag, it becomes unplayable on my mid-range rig. This is awful, because I primarily play in the very late game.

Not spyware like Civ VI. Be careful though, you might become a shut in after purchase. 12/10 want to buy this again.

Ten of Ten would beat nude zombie women off a building again.

If I put in 300+ hours before multiplayer you know its good.

Seriously though all jokes aside this game is honestly one of my favorite games I have owned since I began gaming as a hobby. I found it very relaxing and fun to design my own little farm. And with the addition of new farm types as well as modding capabilities for other farm layouts (we are talking base plots of land here with different features such as a cliffside, hilly area, rivers, ponds etc. ) makes the game very diverse. No two farms are the same either.

Next on the agenda. Console players or those who just dislike the fishing system may leave a negative review or view the fishing system as a con. However I really loved it! The fishing system adds a bit of extra challenge into the game. It can be challenging if you are trying to get all of the fish types due to legendary fish. I found the challenge it provided fun and a nice source of income for my farm.

There are also TWO pathings of farming styles you can take. You can adjust your skills to be that of an animal farmer/rancher or you can follow the planter path. I really liked the planting as after a certain point you could become any kind of farmer you like! You can run an orchard, a coffee plantation or you can run a place that makes jams and rare wines!

I bought this game 2 days after it came out and I have never regretted it once.
10/10 Totally loved it! Just waiting for that multiplayer!

I've been playing games for over 5 years, and this game is probably in my top 3. I've had tons of fun in this game. Best FTP zombie game out there right now.
