@Skillet- Last time it worked but I'm not sure for now, you can just activate the mod and deactivate it during the game, it's load/save game friendly because it doesn't use external/additional assets.

Hello Diospectre! I hope you're doing well.
I wanted to ask if the Intensified fishing docks mod is all up to date? I remember using it in my banished playthrough years ago, and since I want to start another playthrough of the game I was checking all the great mods I used.

@Ferayn

By copying and editing the existing original quarry and filling with water textures, it will create an illusion that the building is filled with water during the game, which in fact, they actually come from different graphics files.

To get the water textures, just screenshot the water (river or lake) in the game and crop it.

There are forums for modders. "blackliquidsoftware forum", for example.

I actually still have a few unreleased mods. The game always refused me to upload them into Steam Workshop a few years ago, one of the reasons why I stopped modding for this game.

PS: I apologise for my super late response.

3) Also, the building will change its shapes. In this case, the quarry will turn into a quarry filled with water. They actually come from different building graphics files, --- you might think that it's the same quarry filled with water, but it doesn't work like that because they actually come from 2 different graphics files. So you must design your own building and fill it with water textures -- or if possible, edit the original quarry graphics file and fill it with some water textures, in my case I use Autodesk 3ds Max. So you will have two files: Original quarry that produces stones (the original file) and the other one, quarry that produces fish.

@Ferayn Yes, it's possible to turn a depleted quarry into a fish pond.

Try to get MegaMod pack:

1) It offers unlimited quarry building, which can be built by upgrading default (original) quarry, it can be done by clicking the upgrade button from the building menu window if you have the required resources. Once it is upgraded, the quarry produces an infinite amount of stones.
2) There are also several production buildings that make you able to produce different product output from the same building, (example: Bee Farm, it can produce Bee Wax or Honey, depends on your choice), it can be accessed from the building menu window.
3) Some houses can be upgraded to different shapes of house, or from 1 storey house to 2 storey house.

Get the idea?

1) You can make a mod that upgrades the quarry into a fish pond and is triggered by clicking the upgrade button.
2) Once it's upgraded, Instead of producing stones, you can change its output to fish.

Since you can't accept friend requests, I'll just message you here? I know Banished is an OLD game and you're probably not modding it anymore, but I have no clue how to mod and I have subscribed to your mods for it. My question is this; is there a way to create a mod that makes use of the old/empty quarries? Like, instead of it being just a hole in the ground, is there a way to make an old useless quarry into a fish farm? Just fill it with water and call it a day?
