Goofy fun game.

There is an alright game buried under a mountain of unoptimization.

7800x3d , RTX 5090, 3440x1440 Native

I am getting under 60 FPS at the highest settings. Running games at lower settings still leads to stutters.
Unacceptable for a $70 product.

Also there are a mountain of crashes occuring randomly throughout.

Hopefully future patches resolve these performance issues.


Edit: Today's patch fixed a lot of performance issue. I still receive numerous crashes though.

Fans of the first game rejoice! Kingdom Come Deliverance is my favorite open world RPG game so this sequel brings me a lot of happiness.

The combat is slightly simpler which makes sense as Henry did train up during the first game. Master strikes have changed to be more difficult, which in my case has made the game more difficult than the first.
Lockpicking has changed, I believe the first game's original lockpicking is easier to me maybe since I got used to it. I hope an option is brought in to bring back the classic lock picking like when they added a simplified lockpicking in the first game.

Every other system in the game feels expanded upon, the world feels more alive. The game feels like a bigger and better continuation of the first which is exactly what I wanted! I am excited to continue playing this game for another 100+ hours!

Potential for greatness. The first game was great this game has launch issues. I'm getting a lot of stuttering whether that be from zooming around a park or from just hovering over UI items causing the game to drop to 10 fps. I've tried closing my LGHub software and playing around with the settings but nothing seems to fix the issue. I will update if issues are fixed.
