compared to the first game, yes, there is less content in this one (without DLCs, but even with them it seems a little barren) but in my opinion the new waterpark features make up for it, at least for me. but if you value more content over new features, head over to the first game and buy that until this game has bugs fixed and more free content added.
now, i think this game as well as the first one are really fun to play, there's many game modes, like sandbox, challenge, career, but i've only played sandbox so far. controls are easy to learn, stuff is easy to build and manage, and in sandbox many settings can be changed as needed (such as utilities, staff stuff, etc). needless to say these games are the best when it comes to theme park simulation, so look no further than planet coaster and planet coaster 2.
also, i have the first game on console so the controls are different and i'm not sure if the PC version is the same
