Speedrunning in its' purest form. If you're a speed junkie, this game is for you. But this isn't a traditional racing game; there's no contact with other racers so it all comes down to you vs. the track. The tight driving takes some getting used to, but once you do there are a truly ridiculous number of well-crafted maps.

The free version only gives you the training maps and the current season's campaign. If you like it enough to get Standard Access ($10 / yr), you get access to ALL campaigns, Tracks of the Day, and custom maps / servers.

Addicting looter shooter with engaging mechanics and game modes, bogged down by terrible onboarding for new players and confusing / absurd monetization.
*played this on PS4 since before it went F2P*

Writing this review after finishing the last achievement at 106.8 hours:

One of the best roguelike games I've ever played. To get the true ending you only have to beat the final boss 10 times, but the storyline and relationship aspects add so much replayability that you'll constantly be finding new dialogue, synergies, and challenges for dozens of hours to come. The way that the difficulty can be increased is so unique that it will wake any dormant interest in speedrunning, because your #1 enemy quickly becomes your current best time and you're greatly rewarded for finding new ways to play and challenge yourself.

Gameplay aside, this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gorgeous and I have nothing but the most respect for every artist involved, they absolutely killed it. Sometimes I just stare at the enviromental art because there's so much life and color to it! and don't get me started on how gorgeous the characters are!

I'm taking a break from this game because I binged it to 100%, but I'll definitely be replaying this again and again.

Easily the most accessible FromSoft game for people who have little to no experience with the rest of the series.

I've tried Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne and neither really hooked their claws into me, but Elden Ring has so much to do and so much exploration that constantly gets rewarded that "walls" in other games are just an excuse to do more exploring and most likely get stronger/better in this one. Bought this day 1 and I could see myself 100%'ing it someday.

Vommy Mommy is a fun killer with unique enough powers that can work with a variety of builds. Not the top of the pack, but capable and with a variety of useful add-ons. Corrupt is also a strong perk on almost every killer and a great addition to your killer perk list. However, as of 11/2021 they still haven't fixed the puke hitbox; it's a regular occurrence to hear a survivor make the "puked on" sound effect but their status remains unchanged and you have to hit them again.

As for Jane, her standout perk is Head-On, but moreso for the fun and meme potential since it doesn't guarantee distance from the killer like other exhaustion perks. Pair with Vigil and a SWF buddy and it's busted lol.

Incredible co-op FPS with a variety of objectives, lots of customization in builds, and randomly generated caves.

However, I would not recommend it if you have an intense fear of bugs or claustrophobia.

This game is unafraid of making you as powerful as you want to, especially once you understand which items and enemies to prioritize. Between the artifacts, the looping mechanism, all the different characters and the multiplayer, there's essentially unlimited replayability and challenge.

Early Access Review
All the grind of Runescape without having to travel or keep track of where to train.

Now with Jagex approval!

Buggiest game I've ever played. Buff and nerf choices make no sense half the time.

Fun sandbox to play around in though. 7/10
