I'll be honest here, the current state of balancing leaves much to be desired. While this is (at least for now) a game I'd recommend, I'd definitely be a tad hesitant to trust the balancing team for the game, as they've done nothing but nerf everything found to be fun, while giving minor, meaningless buffs to things that people don't like.

Surprisingly, the enigma DRM swap (please note that rise had Denuvo previously, unlike what some are saying), appears to have not impacted my framerate in any noticeable sense, though my PC is a tad overkill for this, so that may be the reason. Additionally, All I had to do to get mods working was just update Reframework, with literally none of my other mods having to be updated to function completely.

Otherwise, as for the game itself, it's honestly up there as one of the best monster hunter games, even if it does have some issues in certain areas.

I cannot recommend this in its current state, as, while I haven't played much, I wish to join the protests against this completely unwarranted, unnecessary, and genuinely counterproductive EAC addition.

When a game thrives on user generated content, and you wish to stop dealing with people using modded clients in your support system, you don't add an anti-cheat to prevent modding of the social platform entirely. Instead, you add a marking that reports a game's modded status, similar to what minecraft does, and simply ignore their reports while the game is modded. Or, if you insist on adding this anti-cheat, then add an option to start the game without the anti-cheat, and restrict the user to only be able to join rooms that allow clients without the anti-cheat, which would need to be opted into.

A wonderful automation game. People jokingly call it Cracktorio for a reason, this is addictive.
