Extremely fun and satisfying if you take full advantage of setting up custom leagues and playing through the seasons. The kind of annoying part is the ego system, where it's 1-100 and you'll get to a point where an increase of 1 feels impossible and a decrease in 1 feels way too easy. Tuning it to feel balanced is quite a chore to be honest.

Made by BGS, and besides the bugs and clunky UI, it doesn't feel like a BGS game. No exploration, but the story is okay. There's no reason to go and get lost though like in earlier titles. The game just spoon feeds you the story and that's about it.

The fact that it launches again with broken dynamic potential says all you really need to know about EA QA. Would not surprise me if noodle arms come back in a future update. Laughable career mode once again. Which is a shame since the gameplay hasn't been ruined buy the FUT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yet.

The epitome of "what could have been" but also at the same time a cautionary tale to give developers more time. This game is still terrific, albeit not what we were promised. It does scratch the open world itch, as well as full immerse you into the world. The characters are fantastic, the side quests are oftentimes strange, and the world has so much life. If the game could have at least launched with what the 1.5 patch fixed, then this game would be very very well regarded.

The launch definitely rocked CDPR's reputation, but the product now, at least to me, redeems them a little. I will be more cautious with my next CDPR hype train, but I'm sure they will too.

Definite yes from me. Sad that I had to wait until the 8th entry to play. Here's to hoping that they remaster the old ones one day.

Not a bad game, but a little too much "run here kill these guys" for my liking. Gets very repetitive and boring. Setting is great and the story, although simple, is nicely told. Definitely worse than Mafia 2, which was easily worse than Mafia 1. Do yourself a favor and play the remaster of Mafia 1 if you haven't already. I guess I recommend it, but it's more of a necessity to just finish the trilogy than actually enjoying it...

It's..... just not fun enough to be a BF game. There's no squad play, no comms, not enough weapons.... the list goes on. It's not a bad game, it's just a bad BF.

I would consider this game a hidden gem. It's made by a small studio and wasn't overly advertised at the time. I completely forgot about it until a week ago. I gave it a rest in 2019 because of the bugs, but I am glad I came back. The game feels like a Mass Effect (The Original) of sorts. Not the same level of care went into, or is felt, by me towards my companions but it conveys a good story as you progress in a beautifully crafted semi-open world. There is the occasional jank and I crash and hang every once in a while but I'm sticking with it until I finish this time. Can't wait to see what Spiders does next.

Give it a shot if you are looking for a decent length RPG in the wake of not much else being out.

Hideo Kojima story meets Euro Truck Simulator. If you like weird abstract stories, and you always wondered what being a small town mailman would be like in an apocalypse... then I have the perfect game for you. It is definitely not for everyone though, so beware.

The game also ties in a wonderful online component that is very much intended to be a whole "story" in its own regards. It's a unique game, for a unique audience, but it will be regarded as a masterpiece eventually.

If FIFA is getting stale and you want an authentic experience, give any of the FM's a shot. The amount of detail and information is very overwhelming if you are new to the series.... but if you like football/soccer, then you will come to grips pretty quickly.
