Game plays better after the May 1st patch. Still some major framerate drops but general performance is better now. the game is a lot of fun, just wish we could've had a better optimized product on release.

I was really hoping to relive a game from my childhood; but I can't even get past the opening cutscene without this game crashing. I figured for just $5 I could get some enjoyment out of it but I promptly uninstalled and refunded it.

As much as I was excited to play this game; until they stabilize it I can't recommend purchasing this game. I can't go 10 minutes without the game crashing. Considering PS's track record with PC ports so far this is certainly a let down on launch. Nice to see they're at least working diligently to fix bugs I guess.

Edit: After two updates this game seems to play WAY better than it did upon release. I think some updates are still needed for optimization (I do still get occasional frame drops and loading into the game takes a bit) but the game itself is actually playable now.

OST with Mick Gordon: 100/10

Some very minor performance issues so far, but overall a smooth experience. Story and combat has kept me engaged up to this point, and combat so far has been improved upon since the first game.

Edit: if you have a DualSense controller I HIGHLY recommend hooking it up for this game. It's one of the few games on PC that have full functionality of the haptic feedback and it's phenomenal for immersion.

There are some minor nitpicks I could bring up with this game, but overall I think the game is fantastic. I intend on continuing to play even after finishing the main story, and i'm super excited to see what they do with their first story DLC

I played the first 3 games in anticipation for this to come out, it hasn't disappointed
