No need to read more, get the game. Fantastic ARPG that is innovative and completely changes the landscape in various aspects of the genre. Highly recommend.

There is a lot to do.

Every Civilization game comes with its own approach and differences. The gameplay is fantastic and there are a lot of different builds to experiment with at the moment. There are some very strong leaders and civ combos that need tuning but the fun is finding those in the first place. Overall the UI is my biggest issue, there are some features that are not explained at all and various times when you try to look up information its not always readily available. However I have no doubt these issues will be addressed in time. The ages are a neat addition and makes the game feel more like 3 minigames vs one large game. I did not like ages at first but as I started playing more multiplayer you can tell the game design is focused around it. I am very excited to see where Civ 7 will go in the next few years with additional content and DLC.

Simply Incredible

This game is awesome and extremely in depth. It is well built as there are many strategies and few of them seem out of balance with all of the others. There is a steep learning curve but it is fun and rewarding if you enjoy taking that time and theory crafting. Overall I have enjoyed the game and spent many more hours with it than I had anticipated. I would highly recommend it for people who enjoy depth and tower defense games but discourage those who look for win all strategies or look for guides as there are few community resources to learn that way. However if you prefer to learn from others the community is mostly helpful with any questions you have.

This game even in early access has been an insanely popular hit in our gaming group. We have truly found so many hours of content out of it. There is still a lot to be added such as more worlds and more heroes but even with what is in the game there is a ton to do. This is not to say that it doesnt have its downfalls weve ran into a few bugs and it can be a bit repetitive at times with its current content. Overall though this game is entertaining and provides quite a bit of customization and variation depending on how youd like to play each character. I would say for the pets they make it a bit more clear how to unlock but overall the choices feel good and meaningful! Solo play is rather lacking but once you have 2+ the game truly shines. As players I would suggest making character assignment a bit more streamlined rather than having to assign the slot to a player. The game is great though keep up the good work!
