Take it for what it is.

It gives early 2000's chatroom vibes with a simple game play loop. It's nice to just be able to relax and catch some fish, wander around and kick back.

The Ogryn is the best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hypeman in existence. It almost makes up for him walking in front of every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shot. Almost.

Love the game, absolutely suck at it. Simple as.

Bought and played the game at launch, through the worst of it. I have to give the devs credit for all their hard work, each patch and bit of balancing has made the game playable. It just took us a while to get there. Call it coping, but treating the game like an early access game up to this point has made me breathe a little easier. Picked it back up after Edgerunners came out, just to put some boots to Adam Smasher again--I can't put it down now.

In space, no one can hear you cream.

Can't say anything about the battle pass that hasn't been said already. The gameplay feels solid, however. Voice chat is a little quirky and has to be fiddled with to hear other people--but honestly, I'd take quiet matches over the toxic Xbox Live lobbies of my youth.

As far as customization goes, armor coatings and locked color schemes don't feel great. I miss primary/secondary colours and being able to create my own emblem. If they give us that back, I'd be overjoyed--but it's likely not to happen.
