Man I vibe with this game so much! Enjoyable characters with great variety in how they play, sportsball, incredible music and visuals, great story and writing, fun lore, and it just plays out so well. The interactions with the other characters are consistently entertaining and add a lot of weight to the decisions you make. The core gameplay outside of the dialogue is prone to some really intense moments and fun gameplay styles. Music is fantastic and I love how adaptive it is as well. I really like so much of what this game goes for

sorta grindy and the controls are weird but the music is unironically really good and you get to be a fun fish and it's multiplayer so you can all be fish friends. also easily the greatest story in gaming history and subnautica level jump scares. 9/10

Fantastic game so far. It's easy comparison is Undertale, but Deltarune feels like quite the step up while still being it's own thing. Amazing music, characters, gameplay that I found much more engaging, story is really stepping up. Go play it! It's fantastic. You can hug the fluffy goat! Ralsei my beloved

Undertale is really good. Fights are good and I love how much the game pushes it's combat system. The game is consistently very funny, the characters are charming, music is great, and once the story beats start hitting, yeah it hits. Not as hard for me as plenty others, but it is well done and has plenty of good twists. I'm not ready to call this the greatest game ever made or anything, but there's a reason why it's so popular. Great game. Excited for Deltarune

yeah i played this game for free on epic but it was on sale for like $2 and that's a no brainer. I haven't even played core or anything past that yet, but this game is really good. just a fantastic blend of story, music, platforming, and art, it's super enjoyable and will have you constantly fluctuating between "i am so good at video games" and "i am so bad at video games". there's also a bunch of bonus content with the b and c sides as well as farewell I haven't gotten to yet. overall, great game, worthy of the hype it gets, and pretty much a must play if you're a fan of platformers. it's precise, difficult, but fair. the formula is always being refreshed so it doesn't get old, and although there's a few difficult spikes (cough chapter 3 cough) it's overall really fun, plenty varied in it's gameplay, and just a super good game in pretty much every aspect.

Much more robust than I expected it to be and filled with content. Great way to clog up your disk space. Pretty much a must have if you're into personalization.

TLDR: Cautious recommendation, the first game is currently better in a lot of ways but the foundation for an amazing coaster game is here.

Big coaster nerd here, so my opinions don't really reflect the average person looking at this game. PlanCo 2 is very flawed as a sequel, there is still a lot that can and should be fixed, but the glow ups make it worth it in my eyes. The UI is bad, everyone agrees, and it does get in the way of some awesome new features which is a shame. My main concerns with this game is the coaster builder and the theming potential and both of these are, for the most part, way better than the base game. The new coasters and rides are great, and new scenery and pathing options make it so much easier to make things nice in a short amount of time. Too bad the UI gets in the way of this being perfect, plus the lack of content. I wish more stuff was ported over from the first game, because not having sci-fi, western, fantasy themes is quite limiting. The games current themes are great, there just needs to be more of them.

New coaster builder is awesome, other than the frustrating separation of edit and construction mode for some reason. It's way easier to smooth things out and there's a good amount of new options as well. This alone makes the game worth it to me.

Haven't gotten into waterslides that much yet but extremely happy they are here. No reason to go back to RCT3 ever again!

Games looks way better as well. You could probably argue it runs better too.

As it stands PlanCo 2 is a blueprint for a perfect theme park builder, but just needs more content, polish, and tweaking to get it to where it needs to be. I'm hoping in a couple years this will end up making the first game useless, but that's not the case right now. Sadly I think we'll have to rely on paid DLC to get there, but the free updates that have been coming since release are promising.

Cautious recommendation for now (got it for my birthday, not sure if I'd pay $50 for it now), I think I'll be sinking a lot of hours into this game over the years, as it has so much upside, but it has some big flaws that hopefully should be fixable in the long run. It's frustrating, but the foundation is very strong as an accessible theme park sandbox. The coaster builder is fantastic, and the theming potential is there (although I do miss the Steam workshop), but I do miss a lot of elements from the first game. Hopefully it'll be there in a couple years and we won't have to pay too much in DLC to get it.

asylum is already really good and this is pretty much a direct upgrade and is just super enjoyable overall from the gameplay to the story and characters.

Really cool! I'm a sucker for meta breaking games and Inscryption does it quite well with a lot more to offer. I do agree that the first act is the most enjoyable, the vibes of the cabin are impeccable, but I think the rest of the story is cool and creepy and it kept me pretty hooked. I got slightly spoiled because of the ESRB rating descriptor of all things so just be wary of that. I think the core gameplay is very solid and the vibes and the aesthetic are great. It succeeds in being unsettling, creepy, and interesting. This is one of those games you want to go in as blind as possible.
