Making the transition from a DBD Killer main to a VHS Monster main was really rough. However, it was entirely worth it. Monster has a learning curve that directly contests against habits put in place by DBD.

Important things to keep in mind if you want to enjoy this game, coming from DBD:
* You are not the power role. You are able to be harmed and killed, which is the survivors/teens' primary and only objective. You'll need to learn self-preservation and when to retreat from an encounter.
* A common way for Teens to get kills is to ambush you around corners. Always make sure you have a wall or other surface to duck behind in the case of a surprise attack. Always be skeptical of an unarmed teen running to their teammates, as your death may be around the corner.
* Unlike DBD, your ability to clutch a game relies entirely on *your* skill. Each time you die, there is a lesson to be learned, such as what type of room you died in, what weapon(s) you died to, etc. This makes VHS feel a LOT less infuriating.

I ultimately recommend this game. Ever since I picked it up, I haven't felt the urge to play DBD. The gameplay may not be for everyone. If you are steered away from the negative reviews saying that Early Access is rough, remember that VHS is entirely free to play.

I found a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocket launcher in SCP-860's chamber. I then killed 096 with it.

I've been waiting for this game to come out for what feels like a year, since I *love* spiders and tarantulas. The end result was not disappointing in the slightest.

Got a little dumbfounded when my spider started shooting lasers out of it's eyes though.

It's 100% free, no microtransactions, and can run on basically *any* computer. Even if it's a tad difficult to find a populated server, it's a great pick-up.

So, I just recently had my all-time best game, and I feel like I need to share it. These are one of the great moments you can experience if you get this game, which you should.

Alright, this isn't more of a review, but it's a highlight of my recent time with this game, which I'm enjoying every minute of.

Because I'm a lazy ♥♥♥♥, I'm going to use greentext format so it's easier to follow along.

>Im the Juggernaut. 500 HP against 4 people with 50 HP.
>We have a map where it's a hillside, I'm on the bottom.
>Everyone else gets to go first. Thankfully only 1 or 2 shots hit, nothing too damaging.
>Someone was also at the bottom of the hill with me. Sucks to be them.
>I shove a sniper round up their ass at point blank range.
>1 Hit kill. Yes.
>Their turn again, I lose a bit of my HP. Some dumbass hurt themself for 25.
>I launched a dead weight, end of his story.
>The 2 people on the top of the hill start to get uncomfortably accurate. Im at 200.
>I shoot a rainbow, I managed to hit the person closer to me dead-on. I got a lock on 'em.
>He moves, rip my lock. They also hit me for like 50 that turn.
>I adjust my aim and hit him with a "mad bird" (Has to be a direct hit or it vanishes, like a sniper but less damaging.)
>Poof, he dies.
>1 Person left. He's at full HP, and he hit me for like 45 bringing me to near 100 HP.
>I'm still at the foot of the hill, and he's on the top.
>The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hits me straight on. It hurt. He didn't use a good weapon though.
>Im at 75 HP.
>I shoot a backroller.
>I overshot it, but it bounced off the wall and rolled into him
>Thanks game.
>He hits me with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SNIPER. Im near 15 HP.
>I'm in a little crevis made by explosions, I can't move.
>I adjust my shot and hope for the best. If I miss then I lose.
>I fire a pixel.
>Hold my breath as it goes through the air.

>Direct hit!
>I felt so good after that match.

Scribblenauts is a good time-waster, if you finish the main story. You can create the coolest things you can imagine with the editor, or be like me and create your favorite characters from other games. Either way, Scribblenauts is worth picking up on some sort of sale. It's also excusable to buy at full price because of the amount of replayability.
