The first time I tried playing this game, it was with a friend, and we quit to move on to another game when the movement mechanic got a little non-intuitive.

I thought I should give it another try though, so I did, but I quit when I went halfway up the dunghill, then lost most of my progress because I accidentally fell down a chute to the anthill. Frustating, but okay, fine, let me see what there is to do here. Then I wasted about 15 minutes trying to solve multiple puzzles that I didn't know I couldn't solve yet. Is this game meant to be a Foddy-like? I don't think it is.

It seems a lot of effort was put into making the art, and into making the traversal/webbing mechanic as fun as possible. Those two things succeed. Yet the map feels like it wasn't completely thought through. The puzzles feel basic (so there's not much reward), and yet they are frustrating to solve. You spend most of the time executing a solution that you already know - most good puzzle games are designed to allow you to execute the solution quickly once you figure it out.

Never before have I so badly wanted to be a spider. It's so fun to swing around and build webs in this game. It's short, but the price is very low for such a well made project, and there are plenty of collectibles and cosmetics if you want to squeeze just a little bit more out of the game. 2 pedipalps up.

Lots of fun! The web slinging is especially enjoyable, and the art is really cute. The music is a delight to listen to and the puzzles, while simplistic, are serviceable.
