i want for the game to be good.

there's no way to fix fortifications that were constructed wrong. there's nothing that teaches you how to build fortifications correctly. the result is people that want to help, but don't know how, and their mistakes weigh on the ones who do know how to build, and they are already on suicide watch.

click lock is a windows feature that you can use to help gather scrap without giving yourself an RSI. scrapping shouldn't be this bad: it feels like a placeholder system implemented years ago, and the devs have sunk into such a pit of mediocrity that while it was once slated be replaced with gameplay, they've since just said "♥♥♥♥ it" and consider the system done now.

in text chat, someone once said, "I hate this system" and several folks immediately replied with some variation of, "which one, the tech system or the ai system?"

this game has problems, but so do i. i built a bunker base, stole enemy harvesters, crewed a tank, grated cheese, and had fun with artillery. and i'll never do it again because this game is designed to be miserable to play.

i've updated this review to confirm that the game is getting worse instead of better. it's been a couple of years and they've made a couple of updates, so i popped back into a war because i hate myself. they've convoluted systems that were already atrocious, i've experienced more gamebreaking bugs and crashes this year than the last time i played, server stability is remarkably worse, and the game balance is, to my fury, also worse.

back when i used to be among the screeching choir of players begging for game balance, the devs said "we can't make reasonable decisions because we're still _gathering data_." ladies and gentlemen, it is with disgust that i inform you that the devs are still _gathering data_. it's been years and all they've accomplished is muddying the waters with more stupid items and vehicles that no one asked for. they've hammered idiotic bandaid fix on top of bandaid fix for literal years now: it shouldn't be a surprise that their product is actual trash.

i'm furious with how absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ poor the multiplayer is
there had been a steady improvement from dark souls 1, to 2, to 3, to bloodborne
