Great art and story as expected of Supergiant. Also a great sports game!

The best controller for gaming on Steam. Being able to play any game on steam with a controller without having to install any additional software is nice enough, however the insane amount of customizability makes this controller able to suit anyone's play style. Lots of community support for remapping buttons. This controller is going to end production soon so get it now while it's cheap.

Considered by many to be the greatest action RPG of all time, Fallout New Vegas combines the action RPG mechanics of Fallout 3 with the storytelling style of the classic Fallouts. It's worth noting though that you will probably want to add stability mods since the engine doesn't work well on modern machines.

Yakuza 0 has a bit of something for everyone. If you enjoy an engaging story you'll find it in droves; the main story mode is around 20-30 hours, and the side stories easily double that length. If you enjoy combat, it's got a brawler system with so many skill trees it'll take you a second play through to unlock everything. Or, if you just enjoy fun side content, there's dozens of minigames with as much effort put into them as the combat.

GOTY 2018 too bad development ended.

Great audio and visuals, unique gameplay mechanincs and extremely customizable difficulty levels make this an incredible RPG experience.

Pros: Great writing; some of the best I've seen in the genre. There's a massive amount of customizability to your empire and its tools. A really good tutorial, complete with voice acting. In the early-mid game you usually aren't worried about being destroyed unless you do something stupid, so there's plenty of time to learn how things work. The game is being constantly updated, half of it being free updates and half of it being DLC.

Cons: The AI has some serious problems. It will terraform it's own worlds for the worse, ruining their colonies.Sectors are managed by the same AI, so they'll terraform your own colonies if you let them.

Like most paradox games, it has what some would consider DLC bloat, meaning the "full experience" is a lot more than the asking price. Personally I find if you just pretend the DLC doesn't exist than you'll have a great experience, and if you want to buy a DLC or two then it just adds on to the experience.


TL,DR: Good writing, problematic AI. DLC. Worth it on sale.

This game is considered by some to be the greatest game of all time, and it's understandable why they say this. While it's graphics haven't aged well, it's level design is some of the best out there and was truly a game changer for Western Action RPGs.
