Genuinely an enjoyable game to play with friends. A lot of people are hating on it at the moment but give it a month or so and it'll be like nothing ever happened. I'm very optimistic for this installment along with the base game of MW2. With constant updates / hot fixes, I can only see this game continuing it's life cycle and succeeding at that with the support from Infinity ward moving forward. We just need constant, consistent updates to deal with the server stability issues and provide optimization because it's really hard to run this game at the moment. Overall though when I have a stable game session everything feels very natural and is enjoyable to play. I've played a ton of the multiplayer so far within the base game (Which feels fluid for the most part) and if they can match the performance over on the larger scale maps within Warzone 2.0 / DMZ, the positives would shine a lot more.

PROS;
-> Core game play is fantastic, absolutely love the TTK (Time to Kill) and overall design behind gun play.
-> New Warzone 2.0 map is a rush of nostalgia and enjoyable layout IMO. (Iconic areas such as; High Rise, Rust, Dome, etc.)
-> The new gunsmith is amazing especially with the amount of customization between tuning certain attachments on your weapons for the situation you're facing. (A lot of unique weapon designs, and funny setups are definitely possible.)
-> Camo customization is 10/10. The camo's this time around are absolutely beautiful and the quality of life for allowing me to use my unlocked camo on "any gun" is a + for sure.
-> Tons to grind for; 51 base weapons to level up, gold, plat, poly, orion mastery camos for each, over 190 camos to unlock, mastery challenges for calling card unlocks / charm per weapon unlocks, calling cards challenges for basically everything in game, emblem unlocks, seasonal prestige, and overall a lot of progression to work towards.
-> Proximity chat; This is god tier and should be in any game always, it has toxic moments but overall this adds so many unique encounters that make for amazing gameplay.
-> Gulag 2v2's I don't mind and had a ton of enjoyable interactions so far. (Solo's playlist shouldn't be 2v2 though in my opinion.)

CONS;
-> Server performance needs to be hot fixed / updated. (A lot of instability at the moment but will be smoothed out soon hopefully.)
-> Optimization needs to be worked on HARDCORE. Using a 3060TI and can get around 140 in Warzone 2.0 but would love to see more optimization hot fixes hit the game for every one to enjoy smoother game play.
-> Picking up ground items when you get a kill in Warzone 2.0 is sometimes impossible. (They need to fix the UI surrounding when your aimed at an item on the ground it should allow the option to pick it up, in some cases it get's bugged and you have to maneuver certain ways to even get the pop up.)
-> The UI is sometimes unbearable especially for new players. I've gotten use to it but definitely can understand it's not ideal and bad design. (There has already been leaks / information surrounding IW completely overhauling the UI to make it better instead of how it's set up at the moment, so this should be changed soon.
-> AI being in Warzone 2.0 seems a bit weird to me. As I played it, I found that I enjoy the AI at strongholds but when their randomly placed throughout towns with laser beams is when it was annoying to me. (DMZ with AI is completely fine and fun.)
-> Gulag 2v2's in solos; I feel like this should be 1v1 in solos. (I like the 2v2's for other game modes though, makes for a ton of funny / fun moments.)
-> Vehicle handling feels a bit weird but can see that getting fixed.
-> Crashes. (This seems to vary but I haven't crashed within multiplayer of the base game really much lately but when it comes to Warzone 2.0 I've had maybe 2 times where I've crashed sadly. Some have said it's more severe so I figure this has to do with the server stability and it just overloads to force close. (crash) *Praying for a fix soon for overall stability across platforms.*

DMZ (BETA) - A take on an extraction based arcade shooter within the world of COD. This takes place in the same map as Warzone 2.0 and is super fun to squad up with friends to take on all the AI / other players working to extract blueprints or unlock the new weapon, etc. This is in beta and I can see this turning out to be a really enjoyable take on an extraction based game mode if kept up with properly.

Overall I've put around 300+ hours into the base game of Modern Warfare 2 and between the good / bad, I find myself to be having a really positive experience. I generally don't rage too much though, or care what happens in the course of a game, so take my review how you will.

Overall rating 7.3/10 - Graphics, game play, and customization is amazing. There are just some major issues surrounding; server stability, optimization, UI, and bugs that need to get fixed before it can feel completely fluid. With time I can see this feeling extremely clean and can't wait for the next patch or update to drop. I hope that Infinity Ward keeps up with the community to continue pushing events, content and updates consistently. They've been doing a pretty great job so far, but please continue to do so and don't stop. The community deserves a game that will develop constantly, and if implemented properly this could completely transform which direction this game goes. Infinity Ward needs to listen to the community concerns and decide appropriately to better the experience for everyone. Let's see how the journey goes this year, staying optimistic and can't wait to see what's in store for the community going forward.

We can only hope it gets better, and if done properly. The whole mood could change instantly. All love though, I respect every one's opinion. The game definitely has issues, bugs and crashes. I'm not disagreeing with any one but overall personally I've had a positive experience playing Warzone 2.0, DMZ and even Multiplayer on the base game. It's all been a blast and I can't wait until everything is smoothed out.

Fun to play and grind with friends in a squad, reminds me of phantasy star universe with a twist of korean playstyle. Very amusing and fun to play! Very much enjoy it!
