An improvement over the first game in almost every way, only just starting but loving it!

Big gun, yes

10/10 I've never laughed so hard and got so close to screaming in the same game. At least not for the right reasons. The game is very visually simple, and the animations of the players just give such a silly funny vibe that is perfect to allow comedy from it. But the same simple visible style can really make some of the creatures feel terrifying. The audio however is much more serious, different echos and muffling effects based on environment, perfect to keep the game still feel grounded yet can be hilarious hearing a friends terrified screams suddenly get cut off after they did something you said not to

I was a massive fan of verdun and felt like tannenburg was a big step down for the developers. So isonzo had my worried, the worries were unfounded. This is a massive improvement over the previous game and feels like the most enjoyable gameplay of all three, while sticking to its grounded visceral atmosphere that they have promised, a few bugs on launch day but already patching!

I was somewhat worried getting the game, and it sure ahs its flaws, some bugs that I've seen and such, but give the developers time to fix before judging.
Yeah the game isnt like many RPG's ive made, the combat cant be compared to anything else really. I suppose a tiny bit like M&B in that you can attack from different directions, but not really.
I want go in much more detial for now, I havent played a lot yet. But if you like medieval styled games and RPGs then chances are you'll like this.
Definetly my fave RPG I've played and hands down the best representation of the medieval period I have seen in a game
