Finally, a game for real cuckolds

I thought I was picking up a cute anime girl tamagotchi to just chill and click buttons to some neon synthwave. Instead, I got a digital pimp simulator where you play as a cuckold-manager for an unhinged bipolar e-girl popping prescription pills like tic-tacs.

I really love how the gameplay actually reflects the dark underbelly of streaming. Halfway through a run, I genuinely felt like a cynical piece of sh✧t ready to force-feed my ward a cocktail of meds that could drop a rhino, just to make her hallucinate hard enough to entertain an army of sweaty gooners typing with one hand. You're not a manager, you're literally a drug dealer balancing between her flatlining from an OD live on stream, and her slicing your throat open with safety scissors because of a depressive episode.

Overall, this game is a must-have manual for digital brain rot. I only recommend buying this to successful normies with stable mental health and an actual love life, just so you can spend a couple of hours experiencing exactly how a 30-year-old Discord mod feels every day, blowing half his paycheck on a mentally unstable streamer hoping she'll eventually escape the psych ward and move into his mom's basement in Ohio.

Never played the original, jumped in blindly based on a friend's recommendation, and holy sh✩t, this game slaps. A lot of people are probably sick of every game making you a literal god right out the gate who can slaughter everyone left and right for looking at you funny. Here, your ass is the one getting slaughtered left and right if you have the balls to try and clip somebody. You drop in feeling like an absolute hobo who doesn't know jack sh✩t and dies in a ditch from a gentle breeze.

The atmosphere in every location is nailed perfectly. Each camp is its own little world with its own rules, and the local inmates and scumbags are handcrafted so well that you literally remember every single ugly mug by face and name (and I'm someone who usually has a terrible time remembering faces). My inner loot goblin was screeching with joy: the map isn't huge, but it's so incredibly dense that no matter what obscure sh✩thole you crawl into, you’ll find loot or an adventure for your ass. And best of all, the game doesn't treat you like a moron who can't walk two steps without having their hand held. No glowing trails, no UI markers taking up half the screen. You took a quest? Go listen to what the NPCs tell you, use your brain, and find it yourself.

The technical state also blew my mind, especially considering it's running on UE5. Usually, just hearing "UE5" makes you immediately expect your rig to start screaming for mercy, leaving you wondering whether your PC is an absolute potato or if the devs are just lazy hacks. I have no idea which demon these devs sold their souls to, but the visuals are stunning, and on Ultra settings my frames were permanently glued to 144 FPS without a single stutter. Haven't run into any game-breaking bugs that ruin quests, either.

I only recommend picking this up if you actually have an attention span and enjoy digging into a world and using your head. If you're used to speedrunning hyped new releases just to tick a box, don't even bother—the local wildlife will just humble you.

Leaving this review purely to support this no-name studio so a Gothic 2 remake can actually see the light of day.

Heather: "I carried a demonic fetus, lost my father to otherworldly cultists, went on a revenge murderfest, and literally killed God."
Hinako: "My dad hit me and I’m being pressured into marrying a handsome rich guy (even though I kinda want to anyway)."

If you thought eldritch gods were terrifying, wait until you experience 1960s Japanese family expectations and societal pressure.

I have a strong feeling this Scatarii was slapped together in a basement out of broken microwave parts and old irons soaked in cheap beer. In the lore, they're the cybernetic elite of the Imperium, but in-game you drop into high difficulty and feel like a rusted-out Roomba with a shorted circuit board and acrid smoke pouring out of its cyber-ass. This tin bastard falls to pieces from a single sneeze in its general direction. The servo-skulls shoot holy spirit; the damage is so pathetic it's like trying to blind heretics with a cat laser pointer.

Thanks for the Omnissiah's blessing, I guess.

Don't let the cozy aesthetic fool you–this is a straight-up Lovecraftian cult simulator in a Sanrio skin. The island itself is an ancient, creepy parasite feeding on joy, and that plane crash right at the start is a completely orchestrated trap. You play as an artificially created empty husk whose sole purpose is to gain the trust of these naive little critters and siphon their emotions through endless grinding and gift exchanges. The original park founders actually tried to stop this madness; one lost his mind, and the other got frozen alive in ice as punishment. And now, after gorging on enough 'positive vibes,' this abomination is building a rocket to shoot its spores into orbit and infect outer space. 10/10, the perfect psychological horror game about the magic of friendship.

This DLC is exactly like that one perfect piece of candy—a fleeting, brilliant flash that disappears entirely too soon, yet completely justifies its existence. The prequel setting is a beautifully tragic illusion, feeding you incredibly deep lore and an absolutely stellar soundtrack right before the world collapses. Every character interaction is crafted with obvious passion, pulling you further into the narrative web. And surprisingly, the developers actually realized the intimidation factor of the genre and dropped in new difficulty settings. It completely transforms the experience, offering a massive lifeline for anyone who just wants to witness the impending doom without sweating buckets over every encounter. 10/10, a flawless, bite-sized descent into Krat's history that actually respects your time.
