ok so i love playing this game. even the grind for money online can be really fun and even thought he game is filled with modders it can be less disruptive than you would think. however WTF IS THIS DRM ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. honestly the rockstar launcher is the biggest peice of ♥♥♥♥ i have ever had to use. i prefer to play gtav on windows but cant due to the library service not working. i have contacted rockstar and they have been no help at all in fixing this. so i had to play it on linux but there lies another issue. they updated their launcher so it cant be run on linux so now i litterally cant play the game i bought. i mean i wouldn't mind so much if it was only online that i couldn't play as i really enjoy blowing ♥♥♥♥ up on story mode but when i have no way to even launch the game because of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ DRM. ♥♥♥♥ you rockstar and ♥♥♥♥ you take two interactive. go ♥♥♥♥ yourselves.

dont buy this game right now. if you wanna buy it get it from a keystore to at least ♥♥♥♥ rockstar over with how they are treating their fans

wait a few weeks before picking this one up. so, if you are on linux that game will run perfectly fine itself, but the game itself needs an optimization patch. on my linux system. (better specs than reccomended) on medium settings i get 19 fps, on low i get 22. this shows me that the game itself is the issue here as medium to low on this game is quite a big drop. i have also tried this on my laptop which has only slightly worse than reccomended specs and i got the exact same issue exept at least on my linux machine it was playable.

tldr; performance ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks. wait a week

the game is great, it may not seem like it but just keep going until you find an ak, the building is great as is the gunplay, however easy anti cheat is an utter peice of crap, i cannot play the game because it thinks that my motherboards RGB software is a game security violation

the motherboard rgb software is called RGBFusion

if you dont have any type of motherboard rgb software this game is great but if you do, dont buy, wait for them to switch to a better anticheat or for easy anticheat to fix the problem themselves

ranked is a joke just play casual.
the game has bad netcode
the game has maps that are not 50/50 advantages so its really defender sided
the games audio is still ruined
the game still doesnt work with linux (wtf ubi)

the game is still really fun despite all these things but if one of these happens to you. dont play for a week.
the games maps are fun on casual not so much on ranked
the gunplay is great but can be a little scuffed
the game still looks great but i would reccomend setting everything to low anyway for an advantage
the things this game gets right it gets right but the fact that ubisoft refuses to fix the issues i have listed means dont get the game until its below £15
