Sometimes disabling the PS4 HID driver causes games that detect hotplug events to stop working. In which case, you should use the XInput placeholder feature and Special K will manage the device connect/disconnect events that the game sees.
With this community hub ban, I can't cloud sync or upload screenshots. WTF is their problem? Ask the person being accused of something for an explanation first, then you can start making life really annoying.
Thats really dumb i mean you should be able to get your cloud save games at the very least.
The whole system cuts you off from all of it.
Isnt cloud saving supposed to be included in your purchase tho sounds fishy. I get the Forum Ban sure but anything else is just retarded.

Anyway, I wanted to show a screenshot of the framepacing graph but that won't be happening. I have updated the AC:Odyssey release (fast_stream) with what should be a very smooth framerate limiter, often producing a prefect green flat line graph.
I'll be removing some of those obscure options for Sleep-then-Spin, etc. They're all completely unneeded now because I switched everything over to High Precision Event Timers.
Screenshots, I sorta understand. Cloud Sync less so though. Hopefully the cloud sync issue is only a temporary one.
Nice, I’ll try it out later after work if I have the time.
You should set up ShareX and have it automatically share images to Imgur through the Send to -> ShareX context menu. That would allow you to easily share screenshots just by right clicking on them even if Steam does not allow you to upload/publish them on your Steam profile.
Since I first started using ShareX a few years ago my screenshot sharing have exploded, especially after they also included a built-in image editor that allows you to edit images before uploading/sharing them. Nothing is more easier than hitting PrintScreen, toggling Edit Image, throw a bunch of rectangles and arrows here and there, and then click the green check mark when I am done, and finally paste the Imgur URL ShareX automatically throws in my clipboard after the upload.
(And they probably are being DDoS'ed again or something, does the green little UPay currency show up in-game? :P )
This is where they are:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\*UPLAY-ID-NUMBER*\5092
(Note, foler number can differ slightly if the UPlay version has a lower or slightly higher number than the Steam version of the game.)
(You do get a lot of it from the daily mini-quest though and then even more for the weekly event quest though that one takes more than 30 seconds to complete. :D )
UPlay is also what controls achievements this time which is going a bit back and forth between Steam and UPlay support for some of the newer games for whatever reason. :D
EDIT: Though that's interesting to hear that Valve has tied things into not just a forum ban but a full on *GameID-here* community ban for all of that functionality such as screenshots and not just blocking the person from posting. Strange.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say nobody at Ubisoft ever played AC:Odyssey with a 1000 nits HDR display a couple of feet from their face. These should be fading to SDR white (~100 cd/m^2), not HDR white (1000 cd/m^2).
Either that or this was the intended effect:

In which case, mission accomplished.
Wonder how the cave entrances look like at full brightness, I find *those* to cause some eye strain compared to the cutscenes so that must be even stronger with a high dynamic range display.
EDIT: More updates? Nice.
Guessing it's up to the game to fix the WERFault.exe call at launch and exit, doesn't seem to really *do* anything but it's a thing although I guess UbiQA would have caught that and it's either working as intended or a lower priority for whatever 1.04 will bring.
(Or TU #4 or what it will be called.)
What was that anyway? Threading issue and the game not releasing or locking threads?
Eh long-term Euro RPG fan so I've seen worse. :D
(Pool of Radiance 2002 anyone? Delete the HDD if the game was uninstalled without the patch installed. That was a bad one.)
(Gothic? Awesome games despite the jank but the Guru Meditation errors popped up pretty frequently indicating stuff had crashed.)
(Xenus? Google translate the scripts - part of them, ignore the rest. - and hope for the best, rip the patch data out - and the voice acting. - and add in Star-Force, break most of the game and then fix NOTHING for the Steam re-release to an extent where the unofficial patch is mandatory for actually being able to play the game.)
(Resident Evil 4's original PC port with broken just about everything, completed that with a mouse and keyboard which should be impossible because the QTE's are broken too, patch only fixed the lighting which was well it was non-existent actually. :P No idea who Capcom contracted for that but yeah they did a real job on the game and not for the better.)
(Well not really Euro or RPG but holy hell was that a busted port or what.)
