Information concerning Pets Disappearing with no Death Notification: vanilla Ark bug

FYI this bug is not from this mod and even occurs on unmodded servers.

  • After rigorous testing, i discovered that pets put on Follow but are Stuck far from player will enter into a stasis mode automatic by ark engine because it is deemed irrelevant.
  • This makes the pet's collision bugged with the environment, causing it to fall through the ground like how player corpses sometimes do.
  • It slowly continues to fall, through the ground, through the ocean below, and through the world until it reaches the terminal boundary point where it ceases to exist. Ceasing to exist doesn't trigger the death notification.
  • Remember this bug only happens to pets put on follow and gets stuck far from players, and slowly 'sinks'. I recommend you act fast if you want to save your pet from glitching out.

Server and admins are fantastic, i just wish some of the players were more mindful and courteous
