What starts as a clear tribute to Shadow of the Colossus ends up a muddle game with random Breath of the Wild mechanics added to it. The game not only apes Breath of the Wild but more of less borrows the UI as well. Now games borrow innovate and change things all the time but they do nothing with these. You get a glider to explore a empty world, items have durability but none of them are required for the bosses. So anything you have is ultimately useless no. No clever use of items to beat bosses because your items might break. The game knows this so you can turn this off in options but if its pointless in the first place why add it ? Shadow of the Colossus has a simplicity that bears through all its design. Praey for the Gods adds random world enemies but all of them are animals or skeletons and the only way to kill is spam attack. Its not fun and I found my self rushing around the map just to get bosses altogether i wasn't missing much. There are little notes spread around the map however all the notes come in 3 flavors, 1 cryptic message about how the author died. 2. A short story of how they trapped the boss. 3. Explain the bosses weak point. None of the notes add much and for the hints about bosses are so telegraphed by the bosses themselves they certainly aren't rewarding for the effort of scraping the map. A lot of loss potential in this game. If your a diehard Shadow of the Colossus and want to spend some money you can buy this but just replay Shadow of the Colossus instead.

6/10 weak recommend. Colossal boss fights with obnoxious survival elements.

Pros:
- Boss fights - I haven't played SotC so I can't compare this game with its inspirations, but the fights provide enjoyable action of scale.
- Platforming and traversal with the sail and grappling hook.

Cons:
- Survival elements prove a hard sell in such a game. Short durability of weapons often interrupts gameplay and otherwise smooth exploration of the world. Similar issue with cold especially in blizzards where you can't take more than 20 steps not freezing to death.
- Story not engaging
