I just tried launching CK from Steam/Steamapps/common/skyrim and it told me that I'm missing the steam_api.dll file and that I should reinstall the program. I've already tried reinstalling multiple
times now but nothing. Is there a way to get this file or is there something wrong with my download settings?

steam_api.dll files and maybe the wreckfest.exe files.
Checking the files will notice the missing parts and hopefully download functioning ones.

Here is another idea:

You can try to "randomly" delete files from your wreckfest folder and then run the "Verify integrity of game files" -function again,
I would suggest deleting the steam

and launch it from CreationKit.exe it says it is missing the steam_api.dll.

Apparently, my steam_api.dll file is missing. I've tried verfiying the integrity of the cache numerous times, uninstalling mods, and now I've resorted to uninstalling/reinstalling the game, and even

launch because of a missing steam_api.dll for Skyrim SSE. If there is a way to trick it into opening using SkyrimVR, please post instructions.

folder is currently missing both the FlashAchievements.exe and the SteamApi.dll files.
