You don't have to manually activate them. An addon/script can as easily enable cheats.

I second this. I've downloaded a bhop practice map and I've found out it was causing my game to enable sv_cheats and godmode on launch. Check your custom maps and mods

For what it's worth I found the C4, placed it in the wall, then didn't realize that I was suppose to simply shoot it. Shooting it mostly makes sense, I'm just very conditioned by [Video Games] to expect some key item to let me detonate it.

Any estimate on when this new patch goes live?

Same issue here on Mint 21.3.

Start a new game, the opening is all black, but I do get subtitles and voice-over. When the "cloudy" lines show up, they're not narrated like they should be, everything else is still black, and there's no narration for the notebook, either. The SKIP option remains on screen, and the visuals only appear once it's clicked. After that, it all seems to work.

Tried the game in Proton Experimental, and that works fine (actually finished it there). Also, saved games don't get synchronised between that and the native version. Isn't the Steam cloud supposed to do that?

Please add Brazilian Portuguese, we have thousands of players who consume RPG games, they sell much more when they have the option of our native language.

only thing I can suggest is go to options in the main menu and select mouse & keyboard at the top of the screen

Should be like "gameplay/video/audio/mouse"

lower it down to what you're able to?

other than that... might have to adjust your dpi in your Operating System
