Same problem as exists in every other survival game: some people think it is too easy but the majority think otherwise. The devs balance to make things tenable for the greatest number players who provide feedback (most of which you will never see on Steam forums) but then that leads to the hardcore players to become unhappy.

FFH might consider making a type of "Nightmare" mode, similar the hardest difficulty levels that we can find The Long Dark and other games that offer a stab-you-in-a-kidney-and-then-give-you-a-tongue-necktie game mode.

Pull him away from the edge and sit him down.

Easier to mug him.

It gets abandoned for 6 months or so. Then there is an update and because its little with a few extra features everyone is happy again.
