Ok and? Light pen doesn't really mean a weapons hot garbage.

Third play-thru
Which containers spawn, their location, and what they contain has been random. One time thru springs and cloth out the wazoo and coal is very scarce, next time its pipe and wood everywhere .
Funny Devs :There seems to be at Least One "Silly Box" container in every play-thru. Wanna banana, ? or a funky sword? or god knows what else lol.

No, you're interested in what your echo chamber told you was factual. Case in point, half of you think he's being a "dictator" because they say so.

Yeah people only "say so" because he's a massive corrupt criminal who openly hates democracy, the constitution and the rule of law as well as attempted mass voter fraud and an insurrection which, if successful, would've resulted in him being a dictator.

Well, mushrooms are 2 Fertility apiece, so that's -200 fertility taken up by Mushrooms.
And Flowers are 1 Fertility apiece, so that's another -100.

In short you REALLY need to boost the Soil skill level of your base, somehow.

The Soil skill can be leveled up (I think) by 20 levels by using Gold Bars at your Home Board.
While you could do that, it'd cost a lot of gold bars, and 20 is a pretty low limit via gold bar upgrades anyways.

So the other thing you can do is recruiting more NPCs that have Jobs/Hobbies that boost the Soil skill.
Farmers are handy for this because their Job/Hobby is fixed, and will always be Job: Farming, Hobby: Gardening, both of which boost the Soil skill of the base they live at.
You also gain a small amount of bonus Fertility by expanding your base's perimeter.

This can be done by assigning someone at the base as your "Maid" and then giving them Gold Bars to expand the size of your base.
Keep in mind when expanding, that if there are any wild plants in the newly acquired land, you'll have to clear those out as well, since they'll start counting towards your Fertility as soon as that land is considered yours.


TL;DR
Probably easiest to just go and recruit/buy/breed more Farmer NPCs for your base.
Give them the best beds you can, too, since bed quality will affect NPC Job/Hobby efficiency.

More farmers...sounds good. Will you be able to eventually build a better bed than just the basic bed or do I have to go and use furniture tickets and go "scavenge" for some better ones? (I know the king's bed is said to be the best, but I'm just talking about beds en mass.)
