There's 3 main problems.

1: The account aftermarket - Players literally make an account, spend $10-25. If they get a good Eternal, they flip the account. There's websites where you can buy level 50 accounts with nearly everything from the beginning unlocked for less than $50.

2: The anticheat - It isn't exactly what you'd think it is. It's an internal tool netease uses to determine if a player is cheating or not, players speculated that it's AI.

3: Shadowbans - While we don't have full confirmation this exists, it's very likely as I myself have somewhat definitive proof. My main was currently unable to play in a non hacker lobby for a week. After a week my lobbies were back to normal. My smurf however NEVER had an issue, even when I was dropping 20+ for more than 5 games in a row. Played 4-5 straight days before I started encountering cheaters on the account. And then suddenly it was only cheaters.

However this brings some good news.

1: We now know reporting actually works. Although it's believed that you won't get a ban notification from pub games, only ranked. However the players CAN still be banned, you just won't get a notice. (Which makes sense as the ranked notice comes with compensation for the cheater).

2: We also know that good players who are steam rolling lobbies, will eventually be placed into insanely sweaty and cheater only lobbies, meaning casuals are going to have more fun more often. So while shadowbans suck for legit players, it does as a whole, allow the casual community to enjoy the game too. Which is an important balance.

Why are you delisting it? Will there be no way to get a PC copy now?

Try closing steam and uplay, and then start steam again, and hit launch on anno in the steam library.

That underground expansion might make it more of a downgrade so at least make it so that you can toggle that off
