Yes the majority of the bans were issued on different platforms on PC, but there was people on consoles who were cheating that were banned as well

Never happens because they are balanced to death and a few Hunter tanks with comms will clean them up while Quellers and Sentinels are keeping them silenced so they can't do their dash attack, and even if there was a hill for them to roll down they won't manage to speed up and catch anything because muh realism bad.

The only option is to hope that the backup folder still contains the old version of the character (but there is a very small chance of this, and if you logged into the game with this character several times after that, then there is a 0% chance :D)
Based on the description of the problem, this is a "bounce" modification.

1. Open the folder with saves. Press Win + R and in the window that appears, paste (without quotes)
"%UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\SaveData\Main"
And press OK.
2. Find the folder with the name of your character (hereinafter *YourSaveFolder*) and MAKE A BACKUP COPY.
3. Go to the *YourSaveFolder* folder.
4. If there is a "Backup" folder (i.e. *YourSaveFolder*\Backup) - go into it and copy its contents to *YourSaveFolder*, replacing the files.
If there is none, then nothing can be done (only if you add skill points through third-party programs).

This isn't a tech support forum. In the dev's own statement in the pinned post, feedback is one of the listed reasons for this discussion area. I'd say people being that upset is definitely feedback that they should be aware of. If you don't agree, simply don't respond to those threads.

Personally I see them go off the rails in both directions during discussion, but the basic sentiment is often valid. Both sides just fall into hyperbole and being disingenuous to defend their stance. You have people on one side still talking about Sims comparisons (with years of development), and on the other you have people acting like people are upset about getting something for free (when the issue is the base game is still incomplete).
