In my opinion, fences in this game are just obstacles for the player — you have to uncomfortably jump over them, but they are useless because they don’t stop animals.

Honestly, at this point just restart the character.
I've made multiple characters at level 30 with different builds and sometimes I still die at the first dungeon on a new character, my last pyro mage got ambushed on the way to the first dungeon and I cheekly tried to face all 3 enemies and instantly died.
The level 1 dungeons are very easy but you're still at the mercy of RNG, an unfortunate received crit in a room with 2 enemies early on just means you die and there's not really anything you can do, just reroll your save and try again.

It's always advised to save before entering a dungeon since the layout is generated the first time you enter, you can save for free in the shed of the windmill, it's very unlikely to have 3 enemies in the first room of the easier dungeons but if that happens you just try again.

As for healing items, you should buy the hemp cigar recipe from the herbalist in the village, it's very cheap and you can make a cigar with a hemp herb and a stick, it's a very efficient item for pain removal and takes very little inventory space. Always carry a herbal medicine that reduces 30 pain for an emergency as well. You can also bring an alcool drink for pain reduction but it takes space so I'd rather use the cigar.
Aside from that, 3 healing salves and 2 splinters are the basic, you'll want more splinters later on for more dangerous contracts (3 stars or more).
Make sure you also bring at least 2 high hunger reducing foods.

I am fairly certain that is just a fan made trailer... The game came out over 20 years ago and that "trailer" is only 14 years old.
