Lets be honest, they intended to break ASE to get people off it in hopes that they would buy into ASA.

I mean, why wouldn't they do it? ASE makes them virtually no more money and many players refuse to drop ASE for ASA when they can keep playing on their 1000 hour server they are still enjoying. Its too much work to throw all that away and start all over for basically the same game.

From a business perspective, they dont want you to continue playing another 500 hours for free, they want to charge you for the next 500 hours. So it cant hurt to try to break their game and see if they'll finally move on. If it doesn't work, oh well, "at least we made some money on a paid DLC."

Then the designers should hint at that. Lazy design. I refunded, lets agree to move on. I'll never revisit this game again.

I’m glad you mentioned that, because that’s very close to what I proposed earlier — not to remove boarding, but to give it weight, delay, and risk. We’re clearly on the same page here. It’s a cool fantasy, but when it’s spammable and risk-free, it just kills the pacing instead of enhancing it.

Yeah, I recall some voices on the beta forums were griping about the TTK in relation to boarding spam too now that I scrape my brain... I'm surprised the devs didn't take that in to account for launch, seemed like there were quite a few threads about it.

I'm currently taking everything to 15 and then will go from there. Flesh for HP and Blood for stamina will always be a good pick if you can't decide on anything else. And getting Mind up to 20 so you can use the rosary for a new elixir slot.
