In PoE2 people complained about having to do the story a second time.

Since TQ doesn't have seasonal content which would force you to get to the endgame again, it won't be a problem here, at all. These people want totally different things from their arpg. Same genre, different crowd.

What's even funnier is that the games actually do share crowds. Many people who still play TQ1 and Grim Dawn also play at least one seasonal ARPG (sometimes more than one)

The concept of just replacing one title with a slightly "improved" version has become increasingly sickening in the industry.

Any time I see posts suggesting or promoting the attitude I take affront, as I believe you should if you care about the content of your recreational platforms. It's the one thing I really want Bethesda to change; I'm a diehard fan of their early games (Dagger, Morrow) and was thoroughly engaged in the fallout games - seeing fallout 3 as a 3d title was incredible for me. The subsequent stagnation and seeing other companies perpetuate it far more successfully as an industry standard is a tad frustrating.

a gpu feature was made available that allows applications to make their priority higher in the gpu scheduler when they are made active (the steam overlay becomes more responsive on activation). there is a problem with the implementation of this feature exposed by valve making changes that rely on this feature. valve made changes to rely on this feature less. the issue occurs less.

To anyone who experiences this problem and have lost data, RMA'd hardware for no reason or bought new PC, that does not say very much.

Who is going to fix it? Microsoft is responsible for HAGS. Valve is responsible for Steam Overlay. NVIDIA is responsible for drivers.

Steam users who game on NVIDIA hardware on Windows are customers of Valve, NVIDIA and Microsoft. They deserve answers and transparency.

generally, if bugs or issues are encountered in the testing leading up to the release of a software update, most companies work together in private to resolve the issue to avoid threads like these ever being created.

sometimes edge cases are formed due to a modification or unexpected bug that was never tested for previously, because of the complexity of the issue or because it requires certain circumstances, etc. for everything else, because it is cost-effective to do so, they seek feedback from users in order to better determine the true cause of the issue.

this is why the nvidia forums thread was created, to submit data to nvidia for investigation. if it turns out to be a windows problem, they will simply notify microsoft and work with them to resolve it.

They need to communicate stuff like this a lot better in the actual game. I know there were pop-up boxes in the missions but it was.....during the mission when the player is being attacked. This is something that hasn't been brought up, but is actually pretty annoying. Please don't pop up an information box you have to click through while the player is being attacked. It's just bad design.

On topic, I believe there are quite a few more players in this game than people think. If you look at the last 30 days, you have a peak of 22,266 (https://steamcharts.com/app/2074920). So that number is just for PC. If you look at the leader boards for things like Axion, you have 49k+ people, which indicates an additional 26k+ people who are on consoles.

Well no one ever said TFD whole playerabse was just 22 that would be absurd
22k is steam only , this game is still on Xbox pc game pass and PS5 and Xbox so I would say the real total should be around 100/150 k total on all platforms which +- meets the reg event thing

When are you gonna add some Wash Plants for us Gold miners like the tv show. They have some awesome plants on that show. With this new update for production I noticed alot of players that i know lost interest. This is still a great game otherwise. The new update is cool and it looks good but you have to build massive plants to get things going. Just thought i would throw it out there to see if we can get some Cool 1 or 2 piece wash plants that we can hook conveyors and feeders to. Trommels , Shaker Deck with Sluices , Something for us gold miners! i want the Gold and nothing else on these maps! GOLD GOLD GOLD lol
