The only thing it'll tell is that players get banned, and pretty much nothing else. So, it wouldn't be worth the implementation.
Bans in this game might be for using mods in private matches.
A game with an old version of vac gets the most people banned. Imagine a game with 50% players banned. You would not want to know it because you thinks it's the best?
You can't tell the system is good when it hides the information.
2.5 million of 170 million scanned accounts is a number to work with.
yes, steam has that many accounts.
there is no old version of VAC, VAC uses hashlists since its beginning and those are maintained manually.
So what do you want? A low percentage of bans or a high percentage? Low could suggest that they aren't detecting many cheaters and the game is rampant with people hacking all over the shop. High could suggest they are very good at detecting cheating and the only players left are legitimate.
OR
Low could suggest that there aren't many cheaters and the game is a nice place to be. High could suggest there are lots of players and they've detected lots but there's load more people left that are cheating!
How does it help you to know the number of banned players?
It doesn't matter what information we show you, you just seem dead set on sticking to whatever you believe. And it isn't true. That is called confirmation bias. You are looking for evidence to support your outlook...not actual statistics.
If that number was 20%, or one in five, I'd know that cheating is prevalent in the game and would know better than waste my time on it until the loopholes are plugged.
And why did you feel the need to grave dig up a thread way over a year old and necro it ?
Funny how people only think VAC is "bad" after it bans their account.
