Last announcement by Valve put the users at around 100 million.
I have gotten several games now through my reward points on my credit card. I put all my bills on it, pay it each month and then turn in the rewards for PC games.
But most of the time i buy discounted games, unless i REALLY want it. And i have enough games to last me years so i can always just wait and eventually buy any game with a discount.
Over the last 21 months, you've spent 2952.7 hours playing this selection, which includes 1784 items, is valued at $21001.9, and requires 4426.4 GB
2 away from you :)
1779 here (not counting DLC)
I don't think this value is correct, probably just adds up the full game prices, without discounts.
But here is mine:
Over the last 3 years, you've spent 5593.5 hours playing this selection, which includes 455 items, is valued at $7134.33, and requires 2016 GB
Yeah, that's because the information what you really paid isn't available.
Now, they have some software (that I never tried) that seems to read your account details to learn what you really paid, but that won't work either -- at least for me, most games are listed as "free" as they come from key registrations. So again, Steam Gauge doesn't know the price.
Wait till they see the number of games you peeps have.
