he doesn't respond though I sent him an email years ago asking him to tell his team work faster becasue my internet connection was going to have a planned outage, so I could download the new Source content before I lost my internet access.

well, then you simply could have searched, it is not that his email is not on valves website...

If it is regarding the chargebacks to your acount, you will likely just be told (if you are answered at all) that you will need to file a steam support ticket and have them look into it.

Unless they were weeks apart or concerning different issues that is going to do nothing but slow your response time down. Steam support takes around 2 weeks usually

Yeah u should read how people at valve works, pretty much they do whatever they want, and suposely there is not boss, which lead to be a more creative friendly way to work, but it can also end up in Chaos. like when people posted agaisnt the paid mods, everyone got banned, or blocked from the steam forums, and Gaben didnt even knew it, till he read it on reddit.

Not to say more than half the moderatos on steam forums, are people like u and me, that doesnt directly work at valve, i never liked user-moders, cuz not everyone is good moderator, and some are just ♥♥♥♥♥, that shouldnt even be able to moderate from a beginning

So yeah Valve working system, may be the best but it also have big issues that comes whenever a person mood is not a good one...

No, he just didn't respond TO YOU.

He is widely publicised as welcoming people to email him, and he does read them.

It's not that surprising really. Any smart owner/CEO/whatever that deals with a public business knows that you need to keep as clear a link to your customers as possible to keep up. Doing it this way also allows him to fiter out the crap too.

And he tends to respond to ANYTHING, regardless. Ask him about Half Life 3, play a joke on him, protest against him, they've ALL been met with cordial and better responses.

Well most public finger i know abut that have there email publicly, do not respond a short time after opening, as of all the spam they get
So for me it is a pretty big surprise
