Is there a permanent Discussions ban? If there is, can you appeal it?

if you are repeated offender or a very very serious infraction, I'm pretty sure you get a permanent ban, just be civilized and no problem.

Yes, there is a permanent discussion ban.

To appeal it:

Reply to the ban message and discuss it with the moderator.

If it is in a game hub and from a game hub moderator, you can also send an e-mail to the developer.

AFAIK not all of them are appealable. Endorsing piracy for example will get you banned for good. At least im pretty sure that's the case.

An appeal doesn't mean a revoke. You can still plead your case. If the moderator in question will listen or be convinced is an entirely different matter. ;)

Some people don't grasp the concept of "past actions have consequences". They think that the punishment is only or the latest action and not for behaving like a bloody jerk for months.

If your jokes balance on the fine line between jokey and trolling, maybe just don't make them. You won't get banned, and we don't have to deal with a sense of humor where you're the only one laughing at all the upset people.
