Click USE DEFAULTS.

Then Disable Vsync.

All set?
without vsync i get 60fps but its not smooth???
You get only 60 fps without Vsync???

What are the specifications of your potato 🥔?
Spec is:
-Intel Core i5 6400 Processor
-GeForce GTX 1070 Graphics card
-8 GB RAM
-Windows 10 Operating System
-1TB Hard Drive
its a lenovo y700 desktop gaming pc standard
That is weird, that game should run smooth as.

Maybe it needs an SSD or more RAM.

Are you running on a fresh installation of Windows x64?
came with windows installed havent changed anything

That’s your problem...
how do i perform a fresh installation?
You’ll need Windows 10 on disc or USB first.
Then just follow the prompts.

With the settings defaulted, the only thing you really need to turn off is Shader Caching, then possibly turning the power setting to Performance.

Main thing would be to install the latest NVIDIA driver if you havent already.

Set...
PhysX = GPU
Power Management = Prefer Max Performance
VSync = either Off, Fast or Adaptive (off in-game, unless the game is not abiding by NV's sync)
Threaded Optimization = ON
Pre-Rendered Frames = 1

There, you are done.

And yes, do this on EVERY NVIDIA GPU based Desktop/Laptop.

For Laptops, set [high performance gpu] as Default
what cpu should i get and what does an ssd do?
i have a 1t ssd. do i just plug it in or what?

I think your CPU is fine for the GPU, not the best but it shouldnt be a problem with it.

He does have a point with the RAM though, with high VRAM GPUs you'll want to have double for your RAM to act as a buffer of sorts.

You should probably look up PC building on youtube..
