Ability to delete/hide items from inventory
Could we have the ability to delete/destroy items from our inventories?

I have a bunch of non-tradeable/non-marketable items from games such as Snow that I do not need/want.

An option to have them removed or at least hidden would be greatly appreciated.

Good Idea

I have a few duplicate untradable/unmarketable items from Armello caused by some glitch involving cloudsync and two computers, which is a little annoying.

After I and a handful of other players have reported the issue the devs said that it should be fixed and not happen again, and that they do not have the ability to dig into inventories and remove items even on request, which is kind of weird, given the fact they get the ability to manually give items to certain players for some out of game stuff you do like report bugs and stuff.

Depends on the items, some items are simply given to every player and no one would want to have two, at least you could send them to some of the dumpster accounts which collect all unwanted steam items...

Can you delete them from within the game?

In that game, no, hence why I had to ask the devs on whether they could do something.

Hiding unwanted inventory items is probably the best you could hope for.

The issue with deleting items is all the inevitable support tickets to restore items because either: one, the account was hacked and the hacker deleted the inventory or two, someone managed to 'accidentally' click through multiple confirmations and deleted an item they didn't mean to.

I want to delete items from Time of Dragons but the devs have abandoned the game and moved on to more games.

There was no response on their community or by e-mail

ask the dev to implement a delete function within their game.

I have asked for this before.

Only problem with having a delete function is people deleting by accident. Doubt support want an extra few thousand tickets a day cause little timmy deleted his expensive item. And people hijacking accounts could delete just to be buttholes

Well I know this may yet create some posts of pepole not knowing about it

But maybe they can add a delete like the games delete now, where you can recover the items when you wish so its more of an advance hide then a real delete

Send a support ticket to delete an item(s), confirm it with either steam mobile or steam email guard, have appropriate wait times and the ability to cancel during the wait period. Whenever entering you inventory have a huge ITEM(S) WILL BE DELETED message displayed.
Have a limit on the amount of tickets for this issue you can send in a month, so if you ask for deletion then cancel multiple times you'd be on a cooldown.

This is why I've asked for a way to flag certain items as not for trade/sale. That way we don't get the option to do so without going through an extra hurdle. I doubt people would want to delete valuable items. Junk that won't sell, can't be traded/sold and you have no intention of using......

Mobile authenticator to confirm too.

This seems even more relevant given the fact that some of these silly minigame costumes are unntradable and I won't be able to send them to one of the dumpster accounts that accept everything.
