What happened to all the EA Harry Potter games?!

Woah. I just noticed that they are NOWHERE available anymore.
Except as some DVD copies if you have luck. Why are they not on Steam or at least on EAs Origin?!

I have nice memories of them, especially the earlier ones.
Yeah, I didnt play all the newer ones but they seem to be not that good anymore and were actually always bad rated. Last I played was the Half Blood Prince which was ok but nothing special.

But why is NONE of them available digitally? Did EA just scrap them? Nice job EA.
I wouldnt mind a Harry Potter game collection or something...
Maybe with the earlier titles being optimized for todays systems like adding proper widescreen support. Even if you just release it on GOG. DO IT.

Why the hell are those Lego crap games available but not the originals?! Really horrible.

This. You usually acquire a time-limited license to make money of a franchise that is not yours. If this time is up, you can't sell your stuff anymore. Retail copies can still be sold because the publisher already got the money from the retailer, but digital is more or less a make-to-order purchase in which the key is provided only if someone buys it.

A good example is the Deadpool game by Activision. They had the extended X-Men license and once it was up, the game vanished on every digital storefront. They have since re-acquired them and now you can buy it again.

Yeah. WB should release a complete collection. Maybe with the first 3 games being remastered or at least optimized for modern tech. Resolution for example.

That'll be great I hope so too, I do have hp 5 and the hp 6 pc games dvd for my win 10 64 bit 4 gb ram. resolustion 1024 - ___ 1300x 700.

Your missing the important factor that contradicts your entire claim even if the software is left untouched its not the software thats the issues its the characters, worlds and stories that are the issue and those are still being used elsewhere and are all heavily locked down in very long term ownership status so the reality is by the time they become free to all there won't be any systems left capable of running them or people that would even know what they are or want them.
