American Truck Simulator Or Euro Truck

So I have the ETS but what are the differences between both i already saw a gameplays and they look the same game

Can someone explain me ?

Nothing more than different locations, landscapes and trucks. Their pros and cons are debatable, so the best way is to try out the demo on ATS.

On the other side, ETS 2 has more possibilities in customization, bigger map with DLCs and I think there are more usable mods on workshop for ETS 2.
Personally, I'm into ETS 2 even I do play both of them.

ETS2 is build up over Europe with European trucks brands and you drive around there, ATS is build up over USA or for now 3 states with more to come there you have ofcouse American trucks.

Else you are correct the game is same gameplay, I enjoy them both a lot and will not say one is better than another, But you get more options with ETS2 it have been out for over 5 years and have a lot of DLC's and mods, ATS have been out a couple of years now if i remember correct so ofcouse there is not so much out for that yet, there is a couple of DLC's and a lot of mods.

To you i will ask you a quistion back what you like American Trucks or European trucks. that is what you should think about if you ask me.

Both games can give you a lot of joy if you like to drive trucks, but say one is better than the other isen't fair they are both very good.

But that my opinion, everyone else can have theres.

One has routes in America with american trucks, the other has european routes with european trucks. Hence the name.

And is euro truck getting abandoned because of the american truck ?

Rules are same, but really different experiences. Just buy ATS it's so inexpensive you can't go wrong. If nothing else just think of it as map expansion for ETS2 with a few more truck models for cheap

Oh no, not at all. We are getting a new dlc for ets2, and the base map is going to be redone. Dont worry, ets2 will not be abandoned

That's because they are the same, your only decison is do you want to drive Euro trucks in Europe or American trucks in America?

As others have said as they're $5 each just get both, I prefer the USA, but I still play both games. And Euro Truck is not getting abandoned, they are both being updated constantly with new map expansions being made.

Trucks are bigger in ats
there are ferries in ets2 (and the channel tunnel)

Play the Demos and see, what you prefer. I enjoy playing both very much, but recently tend to ATS (not just because of the event...). Very relaxing, high potential (more states, more trucks), excellent mod-trucks and more. But that's my humble opinion.
