About Trade bans or Vac Bans
So I was watching a vid about a person that was trade banned and I was wondering if the trade ban attaches to your IP.

Example: You get a VACation and you try to make a different account on your PC or on a different PC that you bought that uses the same IP.

Is this how Bans work? ( I know nothing about this)

All bans on Steam are account bound. Valve does not tie any of them to your IP.

No.

There are no bans from Valve that spread via IPs.

VAC bans do transfer to accounts that share the same phone number and if acquired in a family shared game t the original owner.
Trade bans (or rather full locks) can transfer to associated accounts if a connection is found via fraud detection.

Most vac-enabled games cannot be family shard, iirc. It's only with a phone auth number connecting WHILE a cheat is being detected by vac, that they'll all be banned.
