Relatar um problema com a tradução
But only reports of game hubs which are then in a sub forum viewable by moderators and above.
What i'm wondering is, how the process works.. What is the process behind 'reporting a player'.
A Steam member, not from a game hub thread.
The whole idea to report an account because of what they posted is a dumb one. And no, mob justice will not get you anywhere on Steam. If you have a problem with someone's post then report that post, not the account. For obvious reasons: where's the proof?
Unless we're talking about someone who tried to scam you by pretending to be a Steam admin and telling you that you had to trade your items with them (or something similar). In that case it does make sense to report the profile (aka account).
But in all cases: report, block (recommended) and then move on. Don't bother with anything else, let Support deal with it.
This is why we normally say, do not report someone if you yourself were not scammed, harassed, or otherwise need to report.
I mean, unless they're a filthy nazi or racist with a filthy profile. Then, everyone should report.
Or things like that.
Besides, a report (someone breaking the rules, or not) is something different than an opionion - which is quite a bit more subjective and not something you can measure. You can't please everyone though.
