enemy filtering from station services

I almost always go to war with Android Collective, and at least one other, cause it's boring otherwise. :-) usually as soon as I feel I can dominate encounters, but sometimes just the first attack is just because I'm short on optos and plastics...

but mid-attack, turrets and starfighters causing all kinds of hell, combat bots en-route for a slaughter sweep to back up the boarding party... one of my shuttles comes up to the airlock and deposits blocks on the airlock intake side; they're buying services from me!

finally, there's one living dude left, sitting at the console; hull isn't popped yet, and JUST before he stands up and gets riddled with weapons fire with no chance to surrender, from a swarm of turrets and some plasma-toting troops, I get a ACS message from the ship under assault: "Pleased with service: ASSEMBLY. (Rating: +5)"

aww... your last act before dying after watching me slaughter everyone was to thank me for blocks you can't ever use, and I'm taking back?

I mean they flew in red as enemies, we've been -100 hostile for ~50 turns and I've killed ~100 androids and scuttled ~10 ships already.

this is just silly.
